Rolando McClain arrested

This is why some NFL franchises take such a hard stance, requiring players to remain with the team through the duration of the season.  Rolando McClain, 22, was granted permission by the Oakland Raiders to return to his hometown of Decatur, AL this week to attend his grandfather's funeral.  Too bad that's not all he did.

McClain was arrested and charged with third degree assault, reckless endangerment, and menacing and discharging a firearm within city limits.  According to the victim, McClain held the victim at gun point while the victim begged not to be shot.

McClain will probably miss this Sundays game against the Dolphins, as he already battling an ankle injury.  Still, he can expect to hear from the league about his arrest.
