Washington Redskins Re-sign C Will Montgomery
Free agency is in full swing. Teams are actively trying to re-sign key pieces to their teams before they hit open market on March 13th.
Washington has locked up center Will Montgomery for four years. The deal is worth $12 million. He has a reported 2012 cap number of $3.5 million.
Montgomery, 29, started all 16 games for the first time in his six year career. He spent time at both center and left guard for the Redskins in 2011. The re-signing of Montgomery is a good start to an important offseason because of his versatility along the interior of the offensive line. He will give them flexibility during the draft and free agency.
